To eventually fight the goons of the ‘Rat Party. [See Kenosha] Private citizens need weapons of war to defend themselves from an unconstitutional government(see Biden administration). Private citizens now need them for the same reasons the founding fathers addressed in the 2nd Amendment. The weapons of war then were muskets, cannons and swords, today the AR-15 and other semi-auto rifles are simply the modern equivalent of muskets.
If the real freedom, rights and protections the founding fathers were talking about in the 2nd were allowed us today there would be no limit to the weapons we could posses for the people to defend against an evil government.
