If one wants to remove the 2nd Amendment.....you might as well remove the 1st Amendment at the same time. Then we avoid any discussions or complaints in the future.

Amazing how many actually think the 2A created the Right to Keep and Bear arms.
It is CONFIRMATION of the pre-existing right.
Repealing the 2A would not repeal our right to Arms.
Might make for a lot of wealthy lawyers, and no doubt many of tyrannical inclination might be emboldened to make their move, but the actual right would remain.
No court has the power to unilaterally repeal an amendment to the constitution. It would have to be ratified by two/thirds of the states. So 36 state legislatures (voted by the people) would need to repeal the amendment. The collapse of the USA will happen much sooner.
