JMHO, those "Not-a-Wars" have done more damage to average citizens than if we'd been trading nukes. Considering that political capitols/Centers of Power are high on nuke target priorities, maybe a real war would be preferable.
Yes. Even in South America we were fighting. Mostly by proxy but I’d say we had a few advisors working behind the scenes.
