Docs have an absolute responsibility to flag mental head cases so they can’t do stuff like, oh, say get explosives licenses, fly airplanes, drive busses——. That’s where line “f” on the federal 4473 comes from. I guess it needs to be a requirement to get a doctor license: to be aware you have to document head cases. So the rest of us don’t have to kill them when we find them out the hard way.
