If these accounts are true these “officers” don’t deserve to wear the uniform.
write down their names and remember their faces forever.
100%
My own family would disown me for this type of cowardice.
It looks like law enforcement just doesn’t want to have any friends at all—which may not work out well for them in the long run.
I wouldn’t be surprised if close range mass shooters kill their victims with head shots...go around again and finish them off, disfigure them to add to the families’ pain.
What kind of malign envy has this age spawned: “I hurt, so the world must bleed.”
> I would love the accurate source that gives evidence that the cops LOCKED the door... <
Maybe they did, and maybe they didn’t. I don’t think it matters much. A good argument can me made for locking the door. And a good argument can be made for not locking the door.
What matters is that a bunch of supposedly highly-trained police officers just stood around and did nothing as children were slaughtered. No, I wouldn’t expect them to go all Rambo through that door. But damn it, I would expect them to do something, as mentioned in my post #16.
And all fairness I’m sure they released a couple of cops there that were willing to risk their lives
But we’re held back and if I’m not mistaken the actual guy who went in just showed up early and did it by him self that’s what I understand he had been at the practice range and heard the call for his unit for border patrol and ran over there and did it himself
IF this is true, and it seems highly unlikely that a cop made it all the way in there and merely locked the door, then why would that cop just leave without clearing kids out of the other classrooms? And if cops went in to get their own kids, how did they keep the other kids from following them out? “Hey, you kids, just sit tight while my babies Alissa and Max go with me. Hear me? Don’t follow us to safety. No, I don’t care if you are best friends, stay here.” None of this sounds realistic, it sounds more like a systematic effort to propagandists or at minimum an effort by bloggers and newsies on the left and on the right to capitalize on emotions and hysteria at the expense of the truth to get clicks.
I would rather wait for the anger/fear porn to die down and the followup investigation establishes who was where and why before jumping on this bandwagon.
Time to end the public skool system. It doesn’t work.
At least all the cops went home safely that night.
On the bright side, if these are the sorts of agents the communists mean to send to your house to collect your guns, it might not be as bad as we're thinking.
Gonna be pretty slow going for the boys in blue when every house they walk up to has a guy with a gun in it.
Why "they could be shot..."
They sound like accessories at this point. Disgusting.
“They keep changing the story.”
The story almost always changes. Initial media reports are unreliable due to lack of accurate information. Immediate follow on reports aren’t much better.
Mobility is what you need to survive, especially when disarmed.
Who set up this murderous policy? That cop should be put on trial.>>>> This is standard security protocol and i don’t know why other than to make it easier for the cops. Our office had the same policy. Stay in you office. lock your door. hide under you desk. And our security was run by an ex cop. My policy was to head for the exit. concrete stairwell is harder to shoot thru than my office walls and desk.
Border Patrol cop. I don’t believe his name has been released yet.>>> I heard his hat has a bullet hole in it.
In all the chaos and confusion, maybe some of the cops thought they were guarding an abortion clinic.

Seems unlikely schools would have doors that can’t be unlocked from the inside. Two sided deadbolts are a code violation in a lot of Texas cities. They are considered a fire safety hazard.

Excellent point. I agree.
