Downtown office buildings are dead. They’re never coming back.

the loss of tax revenue and other revenue is the push to get folks back into the office environment.
but, in light of all the wokeness happening I don't want to go back into a building where I am confronted by signs asking if I'm an ally for homos, where I see trans unstable people walking around, folks who don't know which bathroom to use, etc.
i'm perfectly happy at my house working.

Agenda 21 wants everyone moved into cities. This is a real setback for the Deep State.

Right now working from home is the most sensible thing you can do ...
Joes prices at the pump requires it ...

Goldman Sacks, in NY City, was listening to their new mayor there and telling (forcing) their employees back into the office. Last week one of them took the subway to work on a Sunday. Big mistake - he lost, and now NYC is back to Square 1.

With a lot more employees working from home there is less demand for office space. Especially downtown.

Who wants to be a sitting duck for garden variety criminals, perverts, BLM types, panhandlers and pantifa while dodging human excrement & needles? I don’t blame them.

“I hope not.”
Why? Urban centers are run by left wing lunatics who have defunded the cops, deny honest citizens the means to their own self defense, slapped ridiculous mandates and restrictions on people, destroyed businesses, and let feral Morlocks run wild.
No sane CFO is going to sign off on a $150 dollar/square foot lease.
Screw them. They voted for it. Let them get it good and hard.

I regularly listen to Mark Simone on WOR in NYC. He often mentions surveys showing that of those who worked in Manhattan office buildings...pre-Wuhan Flu Panic...only about 35% have returned to their offices in the spring of 2022.
To: Steely Tom
they are already working on that
supply chain will start not stocking rural and suburb areas due to gas prices
its already occurring in european countries
the small shops are not as stocked as the city large chain stores
and the small rural shops are looking out only for locals, not selling to strangers, their shelves are bare, but are keeping supplies in the back of the store for locals

Leaves plenty of office space for all the social workers the city will be hiring.

Government works being allowed to work from home is a giant scam on top the biggest scam ever.

Oh, wait.
