I do not blame them at all for going in, but once in, their responsibility extended to saving others and killing the shooter. I'm not sure if 'coward' applies to a guy that goes in when an active shooter is in the building.
I also think there is more to it than we know.

Also waiting for the rest of the story. The only ones who have a right to be less patient in venting their emotions are the loved ones of the victims. The rest of us can afford to wait for more accurate information. Rarely does anything claimed turn out to be exactly what we thought when first heard about.
