Yeah, that ain’t good.
Clear abuse of authority in the face of a mother cuffed and a father tased and another pepper sprayed being held back from trying to do exactly the same thing that these cops with badges and guns did. Not to mention clear derilection of duty resulting in mass casualties.

I suspect the police would make a convincing argument that they were doing their job by keeping distraught parents from getting themselves killed or possibly aggravating the shooter even more.
The problem is with school security and the police response timeline, not with crowd control.
And sadly, that will never bring back the lives lost that the cops inaction is responsible for.

It changes nothing.
