Why do the timelines of this event omit when the cops initially received the first call, and when the cops arrived on scene?

Did you go through the academy for Uvalde?

All you need to do is look at the timeline from first shot to suspect neutralized to understand this was an epic fail on the part of the police. The after action report will make this abundantly clear.

Why was the BP there?

Did they have the gear and training local LEO’s did not?

Is it a joint force arrangement?

Exactly. And why authorities initially trip over their feet to call them heroes is beyond me.

News conferences during events like this are disturbing. 90% of the time turn into back slap fest, where all they do is tell the cameras how great they all are, as they name every agency involved, thanking them profusely, regardless if there are bodies in every direction.

All those running for office or seeking political appointments, the Chief, the mayor, DA's, FBI, DEA, ATF et al, all stand around in front of the cameras wanting face time as they each complement each other and the back slap fest goes on and on. And it's nearly the same in every new conference.

The local cops sat on their hands for 40 minutes - way longer than needed to come up with a plan. Keep flailing in your defense of cowardice. The LEOs really took to heart the motto “women and children first” when it comes to taking a bullet.

Texas law which allows them to have armed teachers and staff

If were working in a school, I would want to be armed.

Ok, then let's get the FBI to come up with plans local cops can use to save our children. Then practice them with the cops. 40 minutes is too long. You're right on that Marshal...

If the FBI can come up with 'plans to get more trans and sexual weirdos into uniform' and into 'intelligence' they can damn sure come up with plans to deal with school slaughters. For the cops and for the kids... and for the teachers...Killer drills.

For students and teachers: When to run, when to hide, how to 'fight' if you must.

For schools: fences and guard houses, escape routes for kids... automatic door locks...

For cops: SWAT training for 10% of all city cops.
