2: The highest gun-ownership state with the loosest gun laws in the nation is Wyoming, where 59.7% of households have a gun (really!)

ONLY 59.7% of Wyoming households? With lions and bears and wolves around? With the Sheriff 45 minutes away? I am skeptical.

(I am skeptical of surveys regarding household gun ownership, because I doubt that most people will answer that question from anonymous caller. Just as I doubt that most people will give their credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, etc. an anonymous caller.)

59.7 reflects those who will say they have a firearm in the house...

Yeah polls are far from accurate many times.

The surveyed Muslims in America once and asked how many supported jihad- v 60% said they did. You gotta wonder though if the number is higher for several, reasons. 1 many don’t want to be on record saying they did just incase they get found out 2 their religion encourages lying to “infidels”, 3 it’s very likely that the most ardent muslims support it and will answer the call when called, so,they don’t want to around suspicion and lie

They also asked about whether they thought sharia law should be the law in the us- agin over 50% said yes, with many likely supporting it but not wa ting to be on record as doing so. I suspect that many more woild welcome it here if they could.

Also, there is the problem of push polling many times. Fox was busted for it several times inmthe run up to the election- caught red handed-

ONLY 59.7% of Wyoming households?

How would anyone obtain this statistic? If a survey calls your home and asks if you own a gun, who would answer such a question?

The heaviest concentration of Wyoming population is in Missoula-—Colleges—and LIBERALS. Very dense compared to most of the state.

I have ridden long distance horse events in Wyoming-—a 50 mile at Antelope Ski resort & a 100 mile in the Big Horn mountains, camping at Shell Creek...a ONE loop 100 mile event...both in 1988.

Then, in 2001, I rode with a number of other riders on the Pony Express Trail from St Joseph, Mo to Virginia City, NV.
We rode from east to west, entering near Register Cliffs & going out west of Evanston. We had a lunch stop on a ranch on the N Laramie River. They watched the vet check proceedings....and were amazed at how much was checked & looked after at each of these mandatory stops/holds. The Peterson Ranch.

THEIR mail delivery is only 3 days a week—the mail lady does another route the other 3 days. Her kids go 48 miles one way to school. SHE goes 98 miles one way to Laramie to do shopping. Everyone we encountered was beyond helpful & friendly.

The country was beautiful-—IN the summer. IF it wasn’t so cold there in the winter, I would have thought seriously about finding property there when I left Calif in 2004.
