I am merely pointing out some thing that the neo-con we “we don’t recognize spheres of influence” crowd sort of overlooked. Geography matters. Just like the Gulf of Mexico is our lake, the Black Sea is a Russian Lake. It’s about some enduring military principles: time, distance, access and terrain, proximity to enemy forces, ships can’t operate on dry land. You know, things like that.

The USA deep state is an empire based in Washington DC, and its borders are the entire globe.

Oh, let me add - freedom of maneuaver so you can rapidly assembly a force at the time and place of your choosing to strike and then rapid evasion and dispersal to avoid counter-attack, not exactly things that the Black Sea offers, what with having to enter and exit through the Bosporus. Oh and Turkey might object to becoming an instrumental participant in the attack, and if the Turks are minimally competent they could sink any ship they want trying to transit the rather long narrow stretch from Med to Black Sea.

Other than that it’s a walk in the park.

I remember when the US used to be a food exporter.

Thanks, Creepy

“According to this article from 2019, Britain has more admirals than operational warships. So I suppose Britain could at least win a gold braid contest against Russia.”

The ONE THING (until Putin) saving the West from the Globalists at the WEF was the degree of demilitarization that has taken place since the Cold War. If we still had that same military, Klaus Schwab would be on a RAMPAGE now.

The last major showdown as sea between US and Russian (Soviet) forces was in our home waters. This one would be in theirs. We halted Soviet ships at sea headed to Cuba by threatening to sink them, itself an act of war, and the Soviets turned around (no doubt under orders from Moscow). Best case scenario is a mirror image of 1962. But who would bet on Biden having the brains (our missiles were quietly removed from Turkey in return for the Soviets taking theirs out of Cuba ... THAT is brinkmanship) and commonsense Khrushchev displayed? Some of these people around the imbecile seem to want Armageddon.

Remember, several tssuian capital ships have either been sunk or put out of action, Turkey will not allow anymore Russian warships to transit to the Black Sea, and those remaining Russian combat vessels are at the mercy of Ukrainian forces. Biden should pull a Regan and reflag all ships to be under the American flag.

Turkey will not allow any warships of any nationality to transit, having invoked the Montreaux Convention

Turkey is not a US or NATO ally in this conflict, has taken a neutral stance

Not that they couldn’t be bribed

Turkey Currently however preparing to go full metal jacket against the Kurds in Syria….who we are supposedly supporting?

Turkey has been NATO member/ally since the 50’s and is considered a “security partner” of the US.

They’re in very tight spot right now, considering the Montreux Convention and Turkey declaring the Ukraine/Russia conflict as a war...they’ll end up having to pick a side because it is being forced upon them. Both one world government axes intend on carrying this out to fruition.

I presume you are referring to the Cuban missile crisis.

If the West truly forces Turkey to choose sides, I am not sure we are going to like the result

Attempting to break the blockade is a fool’s errand.

“All of you that said Ukraine was of no strategic import, we have a situation where Europe can’t feed itself and has no fuel.”

Nonsense.

Europe will be able to feed itself. Without help from anyone.

And they always have the option of importing Russian grain, fuel and fertilizer.

Their problems are ENTIRELY self inflicted.

It’s the southern hemisphere that’s in trouble.
