You can fit twice as many in the SE building size. They say it’s all right.

Imagine those blockhouses with a bunch of drug dealers fighting turf wars in the hallways.
That is what the Democrats want.
16 tons and what do you get
Another day older and deeper in debt
Season 1 of the Wire.
So much easier to exterminate a good chunk of the population when you’ve got them immobilized on concrete boxes. Towers of the dead.
In what kind of free, constitutional republic would one man, or even the central government, get to decide that?
Let’s go Brandon!
Yup. Social engineering.
I’ve heard that’s happening here in the west Knoxville area quite a bit. I know it’s happening in our previously upscale subdivision directly across the street from us. Where we were told “nothing can be built there because it’s too steep”, a whole slew of cookie-cutter ghetto dwellings were built during 2021.
Yes, this was discussed by talk radio for years and will have terrible consequences for Americans. Parents used to move away from the deteriorating urban crime zones since the 1950s. Ones who cared would look into the quality of the local schools before buying a house.
Now dope dealing, sheltering criminals hiding from warrants, giving housing to violent offenders including ones who have harmed children will be forced onto all neighborhoods by the government. The old housing projects (as detailed in Great Society by Amity Shlaes) became symbols of defeat of the Dem plans for planned neighborhoods. Now there’ll be one on either side of your nice house.
I respectfully disagree. They do know what they are doing.
They are commies thru and thru…
They used to have democrat politicians pictured on their website.
One I remember was Jerrold Nadler.

Note 8 people to a pod have nearly no personal space, each pod is in turn required to commune with the other for eating, and in one of the most beautiful locations in the US ... only tiny prison-cell views facing out.
Yup—loved that show.
After I watched it I could understand (for the first time) what was right in front of my nose on the streets of the tough northeastern city where I worked—the hand to hand drug deals, the stash houses, the lookouts, etc.
Zoning is not a Federal government ‘right’.
Many folks in these parts are a step ahead of the central planners.
They (very quietly) figured out that apartments could not expand into areas that had no public water or sewer.
If you moved out far enough into the woods the cost to bring that infrastructure to your area was insanely expensive.
Combine that with hard core environmentalism and future development (such as smaller lot size) is stone dead.
Much of rural New England has figured out the secret—this has worked for decades, and now state governments are so broke that expanding infrastructure is totally impossible—and it has zero support from either party.
It's not a show. It's a documentary.
