And Cuba and Venezuela have the right to possess nukes and host Russian bomber bases….correct? Remind me why we are against nukes in Iran? They have rights,too. Israel needs to accept that. Since by your reasoning nuke weapons, other WMD, and military alliances are internal affairs.

Krushchev was the leader of Russia and since Crimea was inside of their territory, if he wanted to give it away ... fine, that is his choice. But once the transaction is agreed to and completed, Russia looses any right to determine what goes on in Crimea. The same can be said of Alaska. Russia gave the Alaska territory to the US in exchange for currency. Russia gave up the right to determine what goes on in Alaska.
