I guess they learned after Sandy Hook they have to ram something through when everybody is still in crisis mode, because once they start thinking rationally, there is no way this crap passes. Luckily, so far, the only Republican that seems to be pushing gun control is Susan Collins (no shock there) so 60 votes will still likely be an insurmountable climb for democrats. The democrats have dozens of bills sitting on the shelf gathering dust just waiting for the right time. As long as their is no electoral integrity, we have no viable republic. The Dems are going to run rough shod over us as they wish.
