#15. Following the links in the story, his death is getting covered on Russian aviation and military aviation social media, like telegram user Оперативний ЗСУ's tribute to Gen. Botashev. If Russians are saying on he is dead, that is pretty good evidence he is dead. It looks like he was brought of retirement because he could still fly planes.

There are reports over the last few days the Russians are bringing T-62s out of storage, when their production stopped in 1975. Their production stopped the year I went to kindergarten. This suggests Russia is running low of trained personnel and front line combat vehicles.

Meanwhile, Ukraine's mobilization and receiving support from 40 nations who have "just said NO" to Russia's territorial ambitions continues.
