Exactly. My husband passed away at the age of 80 on November 12 of last year, of heart failure. He had dementia which was caused by his heavy drinking of booze (mostly beer) of 40 years. I did a search for the subject and found that was the cause of his dementia.

That isn't the only cause. The standard modern American diet will do it even in a non-drinker. Sugar, processed seed oils and GMO grains etc. are just as poisonous as alcohol.

There are other factors in dementia other than drinking. Biggest is sleep. Men suffer from sleep apnea in large proportions, which deprives them of any restful sleep. I would ask if your husband was a snorer and did he have a CPAP machine? Beer is not going to cause dementia no matter what Google tells you.
