An epic battle.

Who’s side are we on?

Be nice if they would considering pulling back BEFORE sinking another $40B...but, better late than never, I guess.

Republican leadership has sought to downplay the influence of this new bloc of members pushing "restraint" in foreign policy.

Calling them leaders is kind of begging the question, but I hope they die in the smoking nuclear crater they are pushing for.

“An epic battle. Who’s side are we on?”

We seemed pretty unified against intervention in places with no US interest. But then the Neocons said “Let’s fight the Russians!”, and so a good chunk of people here followed the Neocons.

Go figure.

Democracy, Inc. of course. Tell me you are not against spreading the blessings of democracy to all corners of the globe.

Why wouldn't you want to do that. Nukes? The Russians are so incompetent that the tires will probably fall off their cars trying to get to the nuclear launch site anyway.

What has totally changed (in recent years) in the equation is the total refusal of the Uniparty to defend the only border that matters—the southern border of the United States.

As long as they refuse to do that, I refuse to support any US defense of anyone else’s border.

I also refuse to support any US foreign policy that seeks to spread sexual perversion around the world.

That is where I stand—and I don’t even care how many stand with me. I shall not be moved.

How sure are you? Their hypersonics sure don’t seem to have any trouble hitting their targets.

Tell me about it, just what are we, exactly, supporting in Ukraine? A guy who’s turning the country into a giant bathhouse or something?

Yep, when the Neocons took control of the Republican Party. Just surprises me that so many here (and elsewhere) are willing to follow them off the cliff in Ukraine. Incredible.

AndyJackson, I think our self appointed betters have caught the car they were chasing and they are starting to realize that they should have sat on the porch. These incompetent bastards are about to get their own selves killed by a random.. and they can’t even sleep in their own homes without worrying about getting shot. Their underlings are scared to ride public transportation just to get to work. There interns are telling them they can’t afford gas and can’t find baby formula...

That shooting of the Goldman Sachs employee commuting to work was a big deal....especially since they had just ordered the employees to report to the office instead of working remotely.

If the employee’s family hires a blood-thirsty lawyer they might be able to get big bucks from Goldman Sachs for contributing to the death of the young man.

It would be a very unique lawsuit, but juries love to nail big companies with deep pockets, and Goldman Sachs were just being jerks by ordering their employees to commute to work when it was obvious the jobs could be done remotely (since they had been done remotely for the previous two years).

We need to stop “spreading the blessings of democracy” by massive killing in foreign countries.

Led by Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham, do you really think they’re going to restrain Intervention Spending?

They can’t spend it fast enough!
