I’m very skeptical of these numbers. The US is open about these statistics. Russia is not.
How are they arriving at these numbers?
MSM said Russia lost 20,000 in the first month of the war. Close enough I guess not that I trust any numbers being reported by anybody.

Equipment losses are well documented. When a tank is hit you can wrote off the entire crew. Same with most aircraft.
That will get you in the ballpark. Add a percentage for ground forces.
