Tuesday brings the next big batch of primaries, as voters head to the polls in Alabama, Arkansas and Georgia — plus we get a little bonus electoral action thanks to several runoffs in Texas and a special election in Minnesota. And thanks to former President Donald Trump’s attempt to dislodge multiple incumbents who refused to overturn the 2020 election, Georgia is the election on everyone’s mind this week, but there are even more races of note in the other four states — 11, to be exact. Here’s the lowdown on each of them.

They basically just mention every close race, which is informative enough for folks who weren’t already aware of them, but like everything else which comes from that site the article basically reads like a press release from the DNC.

I’m glad they mentioned Minnesota. Why should we vote for Carnahan, just because she was married to Hagedorn. That’s the dumbest think I have ever heard. I live in the 1st Congressional District of Minnesota. Hagedorn was my Rep. but I never liked his wife even before they were married. Rep Jeremy Munson is the mega conservative candidate. He has proven it by his voting record, again and again. Why wouldn’t you vote for the sure thing.

So far, the GOP turnout in the Primaries has been dismal - Only 19% in Ohio - 14% in Kentucky and 11% in Indiana.

People too busy to show up and vote?

I agree that Munson is much preferable to Carnahan, but widows have a pretty good track record (aside from that one Trump endorsed in Texas last year) as far as inheriting their husbands’ positions in Congress.

There are plenty of reasons to dislike Carnahan, but the whole “controversy” about some issue with her donor is media-generated garbage. If candidates must be destroyed because of the behavior of their DONORS, then every Democrat everywhere would have major fundraising problems since all their big donors would be suddenly off-limits.

++++++++++++++++

It’s pitiful, isn’t it? The mid-term primaries is where your voice can be heard and you can tell your party the direction in which you want the party to move. And people just sit at home and let others make that decision for them.

My dislike of Carahan has nothing to do with donors. She is an opportunist. I was the Deputy Chair in our district before Jim was elected and before they were married. So I know from experience.

THATS EXACTLY WHY primaries are so important!

So few people vote that it’s easier to affect the outcome. Primaries are where you can easily defeat a RINO incumbent.
Just you and a couple dozen of your closest friends and family can affect the outcome.

But the RINO incumbent has a large list of his government employees who DO vote, because they want to keep their job.

In Alabama, and NOT VOTING.

Too much media interference (if not actual vote fraud, but there may be some of that in Birmingham AL). Also, we are not voting our way out of this.

“In Alabama, and NOT VOTING.”

I could never not vote. And I live in MA, where I really haven’t had anybody worthwhile to vote for. But I’ve voted in every election since I was 18.

Do you not understand why? THEY STOLE THE LAST ELECTION! What makes you think the Demonrats won’t do it again? If anything, they are MORE motivated to fraud than last time, because they GOT AWAY WITH IT!

Why? Do you not understand that the conditions have changed? Normalcy bias kills.

re: your tag line

Apparently brewing has become an essential craft in Minnesota. Not that I’m complaining.
