Chappelle lives in the leftist-hellhole of Yellow Springs, OH, which is about 10-15 miles to the east of Dayton.
About 5-6 years ago, my wife bumped into him while she was getting her hair cut at her beauty salon. She told me that he was a nice guy and acted like any other regular joe getting his hair cut.
He lives there now by choice but I believe he is from the Washington DC area. (Hope I got this one right!)
