Do We Really Want to Take Out Vladimir Putin?

For undying enmity toward Mother Russia, Ukrainians have good cause. It can be traced to a single Ukrainian word -- “Holodomor” (derived from “holod, meaning hunger, and “mor,” meaning extermination). The word refers to a single event, the famine of 1932-3. This “famine,” however,” did not come from an act of nature, but from government policies -- the government at that time being not exactly Russia, but rather the Union of Soviet Socialists Republic, which was close to the same thing.

In keeping their socialist, “equitable,” agenda, the Soviets, under Joseph Stalin, took over private farms and formed collectives. The Soviets set quotas for crop production for them, reserving a portion for the government. On this endeavor, Patrick J. Kiger of History writes:

Collectivization in Ukraine didn’t go very well... it became apparent that Ukraine’s grain harvest was going to miss Soviet planners’ target by 60 percent. There still might have been enough food for Ukrainian peasants to get by, but, as [Anne] Applebaum writes, Stalin then ordered what little they had be confiscated as punishment for not meeting quotas.

At least 3.9 million, or about 13 percent of Ukrainians, starved to death. At the same time, the Soviets exported more than a million tons of grain to the West.

Of course, under the Soviets, at least 1.1 million Russian farmers starved also, but their survivors have no nationality to blame -- only an evil, delusional ideology. Ukrainians have more -- the ideology, and the nation that brought it to them. For this, and for more, Ukrainians have good cause for their enmity.

“With Ukraine under our belts we can push on and start dismantline the Russian Federation bit by bit and turning it over the the globalists. Have you all gone mad?”

This is EXACTLY what the Neocons did in Iraq - just get rid of Saddam and all would be fine and a new, Jeffersonian Democracy will flower from the ground. Plus, US arms contractors will have a field day (and that’s even mentioned above, LOL).

Given their record of ‘creating democracies’ around the world, the Neocons need to go back to where they came from, which was the Democrat/Marxist wing of politics, and leave the Conservatives alone to try to keep the US from being destroyed.

"Just like the US"

Don't be so sure. So far everyone who has ever bet against America has lost.

It's like being ambushed by a lion. You don't need to be the fastest runner in the world. You just need to be faster than the other guy.

Some people are saying the dollar is becoming toilet paper. These people probably don't like to look at the graphs.

Imagine the guy the globalists will replace him with.

That's been my thinking all along. If Putin's really this bad (and he is, IMO) then imagine who's going to come after him and how much worse they'll be.

None of this ends well. There are no "good guys" in any of this and the people who are going to suffer the most outside of Ukraine happen to be us in America.

In 16 months we've gone from energy independence, the land of plenty, full employment and more, to begging for baby formula from other nations and a laughing stock led by a poopy pants filling dementia addled old pervert.

We are so screwed I don't think we can fully comprehend just how bad it really is yet, and it just gets worse and worse every day.

We’re the good guys, Russians are the bad guys.

Ukrainians are the guys dying in the heavy firefights, but they don’t want to surrender because they know it wouldn’t mean peace. It means torture and killing for them and civilians.

They beg for weapons and ammo and giving it to them is well within our capabilities.

Right there is the problem.

There are no good guys in this situation. You need to view this from higher ground.

You seem to be the only sane person on this thread.

Naw, I was just reluctant to comment. ;-)

The OP (Do We Really Want to Take Out Vladimir Putin?):

It's a dumbass question, but as bait it sure has chummed the waters for all the CINOs, hasn't it?

Russia invaded Ukraine. They torture, rape and massacre Ukrainians.

They could just go home and none of this would be happening.

You have to turn yourself into a pretzel to create excuses for what the Russians are doing.

Most people want simple problems and simple answers. Understand that you are one of them.

You want good guys and bad guys. That one sentence reveals a LOT.

This is a complex problem. Liberals want simple answers.

Why is that?

One of the premier books on war and military strategy is Von Clausewitz - "On War." He wrote famously that war is an extension of politics by other means. Putin tried diplomacy. He told the West that Ukraine was across a bright red line. Our politicianns blew him off. So he reengaged politics by other means. Everyone in the room understood the language everyone was speaking. The cronies of the global corruptocracy simply didn't care. So is Putin responsible for wrecking a country or are the corrupt globalists who tried to put their money laundering machine on fast spin?

And what is their view of China's role in this and setting China up to be the big winner and the American People as the big loser?

Stretch a little and you have Biden doing the same thing with baby formula, except that he is providing it to the 3rd world at the illegal alien border crossing. All of this so democrats can keep their steady supply of landscapers and underage sex slaves going.

Liberals want to obfuscate. What we have here is by chance one of the clearest moral choices ever. Russia invaded Ukraine. They torture and massacre people!

LIBERALS want to make it somehow into the fault of America!

They’re having little success because the good people of America say that we must send weapons to Ukraine so they can defend themselves!

Really, It is that simple?

As I said, it is human nature to want simple answers. That makes people sheep, easily manipulated.

Now, why are you so comfortable with that simple answer? Think about it.

Not with the corrupt, evil mis-Administration we have in DC we're not.

Exactly, and I’ve cited Von Clausewitz many times in the past few years, principally as an extension of my oath.

We can speculate on the endgame, but I, for one, am thankful this manufactured crisis has outed many closet RINOs/CINOs, some of them here.

And we can fully expect the attacks on true Conservatives & Trump supporters to increase as we approach the breaking point for a false flag to both deflect from their failures and maintain their broad agenda momentum.

Wasn’t Russia (and Putin) the one that poisoned the Georgian President before installing a puppet government there? Can’t imagine why the Ukrainians would be apprehensive.

The Allied powers lost around 22 million military and civilians in WWII.

Russia accounted for 20 million of those.

The US about 400,000.

Many Russians alive today lost fathers, uncles, cousins.

You need to STFU about the Russians.

they don’t want to surrender because they know it wouldn’t mean peace

And a lot of them are conscripts sent to the front as cannon fodder with little competence for the job they have been given and told that if they surrender or desert they will be shot.

They had what passes for democracy in a country manipulated by wester corrupt globalists. But hat same corruptocracy wanted soemthing else besides a peaceful and thriving Ukraine. They wanted to push empire east across Putin's red line. Now they have a wrecked country.

And we are supposed to be fighting for and funding that same laundry while democracy [representative Republicanism to be accurate] is largely a myth here in the US as well.

For a thousand years the Russian people have been brutalized by Czars and dictators. They do not have any other way to function. Remove the brutal yoke and Russian society collapses.

Plus all the vodka in Russia.
