Presidentish Joe Biden keeps setting new records. Record gas prices, record inflation rates, record wage losses.
And now a new record-low approval rating, even among Democrats, according to the Associated Press.
“Only 39% of U.S. adults approve of Biden’s performance as president,” NORC Center for Public Research says in its latest poll for AP.
That’s bad. But it gets even worse when you dig deeper than the headline number.
Only two in 10 Americans say the country is headed in the right direction, a terrible barometer for a Democrat Party seeking desperately to hold on to power with razor-thin majorities in the House and Senate. That’s down from three in ten just a month ago.”
“Those drops,” the AP says, “were concentrated among Democrats, with just 33% within the president’s party saying the country is headed in the right direction, down from 49% in April.
In other words, Biden had already lost about as many Republicans and independents as possible, so every new low he hits will mostly come from his own base deserting him in ever-greater numbers.

The only good thing coming out of this is hopefully it will get these bastards elected out of office, but like I’ve said many times - Absolutely nothing has been done about election integrity, so I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if the Rats sweep the midterms.

A poll of “adults” is the least reliable. A poll of “likely voters” is more trustworthy. In the latter, it’s more like in the low 30s.

These numbers can be misleading. I suspect the drop in the “country is moving in the right direction” metric among Democrats is less unhappiness with Biden, and more the effect of the Roe leak.
Do they just disapprove of Biden personally, or do they disapprove of Democrat policies? Because Biden could be completely competent, fit, healthy, and sharp as a tack - these policies would still be just as destructive. If they just disapprove of Biden the person they’ve learned nothing.
The question is, how many disapprove because he hasn’t been liberal enough.
That "big breath of fresh air" and the end of the "Trump disaster" the media painted wasn't all it was cracked up to be (and was a total lie).
What you said was true before likely voters included mail-in votes that could be manufactured or “harvested.”

Come to my workplace-—they’re there! It’s freaking brutal-—they complain how expensive everything is and empty shelves. Then they’ll go on a rant about Trump-—it’s simply delusional. I thank God for my job, but these people are making it real hard to come into work.
Hubris, arrogance, and pretension are related to the need for victory (even if it does not always mean winning) instead of reconciliation, which “friendly” groups might promote. Hubris is usually perceived as a characteristic of an individual rather than a group, although the group the offender belongs to may suffer collateral consequences from wrongful acts. Hubris often indicates a loss of contact with reality and an overestimation of one’s own competence, accomplishments or capabilities.

This guy ran for president two or three times in the past and never got above 1% or 2%. The guy was just never ever likable, so they simply installed the older, demented and more crotchety version of Biden.
Yeah, the guy’s poll number is more likely in the 20s. You know, the guy who got more votes than Obama.

No kidding. 63% would mean ALL Democrats and ALL independents. Now, it’s down to pretty much all Democrats and only a handful of indies.
