Yes I said associated with, not defined as
“With mop up, this is likely to last a year.”
Much, much longer than that. The resistance movement and the insurgency will make Northern Ireland look like child’s play. The IRA will look like pikers compared to the Ukrainian “underground.”
“It hasn’t been “the Ukraine” for 30 years at least. Why the enthusiasm to erase Ukraine’s national sovereignty and re-constitute the Soviet Union?”
Because there are some on FR who long for the “glory” of the USSR.
When the Ruskies reached Berlin in WWII, stories came out of their never having seen flush toilets and using them to wash potatoes.
“The following surrendered from AzovStal: US General Eric Olson...”
No such person. There is a retired USN admiral named Eric Olson, but no known active US general.
“What is coming out from the Ukrainian government is far more truthful than anything Russia says.”
There’s a lot of propaganda coming from Ukraine, but believe NOTHING coming from ANY Russian source, as they are all answerable to the Kremlin, and exist solely at the mercy of the Kremlin.
“And, Zelensky has banned or suspended ALL opposition parties...”
Not true. He has only banned parties that align with Russia; much as we did in 1954 when Eisenhower banned the Communist Party of the United States.
“When the Ruskies reached Berlin in WWII, stories came out of their never having seen flush toilets and using them to wash potatoes.”
That’s probably the only thing they ever washed.
Don’t be dazzled by Russia’s laser weapons claims: Experts
“There’s not a lot of detail, but from what there is, there’s no need to hyperventilate,” said Laura Grego, an astrophysicist at MIT.

#31. Their wunderwaffe were not a problem when Trump was President.
Why not, we did.
It is my fault and my system's limitation.
Apparently Telegram pages will automatically reload when one scrolls down.
And when it does the page changes from Images of posts (which I cannot copy and past into translators) to Text of posts (which I can copy and paste into translators).
Of course I lose my place in context when this scrolling reload takes place.
I'm just going to have to rely on others for English translations of these sources.
If I were a close advisor to Vladdy, my recommendation would be to send a hundred Backfire bombers into the air and flatten Ukraine until nothing stood that was over a quarter of an inch high. They (LGBTUkrainians) would be begging the Russians to stop in 4 hours.

Well you need to get yourself to Russia and help Comrade Pidor Putin win this war! He needs dynamic thinkers like yourself who can come up with bright ideas like sending flying antiques up against modern surface-to-air missiles!
Russia has about 100 more-or-less functional Backfires and if you send them to Ukrainian airspace the Russians will have about 100 fewer.
Yes, I know, and this means nothing. News are full of claims that Russia lost 12 generals, the reality is one general + one admiral... they do confuse often enough.
I’m not much of an expert on Telegram—only used it since the beginning of this war, when all the most recent info concentrated there.
One thing for sure — use desktop app (and it was a problem to register it — not as hopeless as Trump’s site but still), not html links, otherwise not all is shown. But then there seems to be no way to link to a particular piece on desktop app. ?!
I read a report that the civilians in the steel plant with Azov were hostages of Azov and not sympathizers. Civilians that Azov knew were opposed to them. I don’t know if that’s the same plant as this one.
In one previous instance where a lot of civilians were found dead in one village many of them had a distinctive ribbon that indicated they were opposed to Azov. Russian troops had occupied the town for weeks. The MSM was claiming that the Russians had killed the civilians before pulling out, rather than Azov killing civilians who were their enemy.
shock and oh dermo
