The Skeptics Dictionary website is maintained by others, and the Blaylock "fact-check" does not show its author, though one may assume Carroll wrote it. At least one link on the fact-check article returns a 404 not found error. Another purportedly citing Blaylock's "brain research formula" references a web site in Shaanxi, China. A close reading of the "official" fact check of Blaylock shows the article was "Last updated 29-Oct-2015." The citation of the this 2015 article as a critique of an article written and published in SNI last month suggests that the attack on Blaylock has, in Blaylock;s own terms, political overtones.
One recalls that the Kennedy book on "The Real Anthony Fauci" was greeted with "kill the messenger" games. Such is the "this is who he is" gambit. Close reading of all on all sides is recommended, because there are those who would kill many messengers of that worth knowing,
