The followers of Baal, Ashtoreth, and Molech are upset about the sacrifices thingy.
There are lots and lots of money made by the forces of evil in the assembly line murder of innocent unborn and partially born infants. The evil doers are not going to give it up without one hell of a fight.
My response would’ve been: you already both made a choice - it is the consequences of that choice you are trying to run from by advocating that murdering an unborn viable child - one that resulted from a completely preventable pregnancy, is something other than murder.
People want to have guilt-free unprotected sex and not deal with the possible consequences of the actions they take. That’s just not how things work.
I’m pro choice - make intelligent ones, deal with the consequences of all of them that you make, good or bad, and don’t shirk personal responsibility. It is really simple.

When sex was uncoupled from reproduction and became a playground, courtesy of widespread contraception, this was the predictable result.
Contraception is seen by many people as a "guarantee" that you won't get pregnant. But it's like everything else, it can fail. And when it does, the people involved feel like they can cash in their "guarantee" by getting an abortion.
The hard-core abortion activists have just begun skipping the intermediate step. And suddenly people are upset . . . .
