None of these points make Ukraine a threat to Russia.
I do find the bit about “Russian speaking Ukrainians” laughable. Say hypothetically, in 20 years, waves of recent Mexican immigrants turn (or I should say, return) the US Southwest to a predominantly Spanish-speaking region, and decide they want to reunite with Mexico, by violence if necessary. Would you be okay with that? Would you support that effort?
What is good for the goose... Why Kosovo was split from Serbia? Or why Ukraine was split from USSR to start with?
You raise a very good point. Imagine if China started mucking around in Texas politics after a divided and weak USA collapses from woke politics. Helping Hispanic Nationalists split from the USA, delivering weapons, aligning with Mexico in a military alliance, promising to contain the remaining USA.
You will start to understand the role the US deep-state and neocons play mucking around in Ukraine.
“... as I said, there’s plenty of corruption in Ukraine, as there is in Russia as well. ...”
As much as we have in Washington, D.C.?????
Every time I read of all the corruption in Ukraine, Russia and elsewhere, the old saying, “the pot calling the kettle black,” comes to mind.
