Everyone in the mRNA field gives him credit for making an important advance in their science. But they also say that about a lot of other researchers whose discoveries were equally important. The two researchers who others seem to credit the most for making vaccines a reality are Katalin Karikó and Drew Weissman. No one ever hears about them because they aren’t making a career out of becoming famous.
