I don’t see much difference between the two. 30 years of Romney v 6 years of a Democrat. I’ll take the Democrat for 6 years. IF the Repukes actually WANT to stop things they can they just choose not to because they don’t want to stop anything (mostly because they are comfortable with the changes). Trump could barely get a team together for 4 years because Democrats slow walked everything. Did the Repukes do that? No. Ask yourself why not. Don’t come to me with judges. Lindsey has bee ramming them through. Not much of a fight was put up against thr latest Supreme Court member (the guy hasn’t even retired yet. I’m sure there needed to be consensus to rush her through). I can’t be scared into supporting the Romney wing.

The Only member to support KBJ was Romney and he would not have had his vote been decisive.

The mere fact that Roe is on the cusp of being overturned is thanks to McConnell not giving Garland a hearing in 2016 when Scalia died.

Too many people here forget that.

I don’t see much difference between the two.

Most people who do this have the same response. There is a profound difference, but the difference is in the aggregate, not in the difference between two individuals.

The Democrat Party is much more disciplined than is the Republican Party. A Democrat politician will pay a price for going against the party line and therefore seldom do so, unless the party gives them permission to vote against them. This does not happen in the Republican Party. They can defy the Party at will and do so often. Look at Senator Murkowski and Senator Collins. Senator Manchin may vote against the Democrats, but usually in an issue that is not critical, or when they don't need his vote. Democrats vote as a block and the Republicans don't. Its as simple as that.

The fight for the country is between the parties and not what you learned in 9th grade, that the fight is between individual candidates based on policies and promises.

For this reason, I will always vote for the most conservative candidate in the race, except that I never vote for a Democrat. Democrats are never the most conservative in a race even if they claim to be. Conservatives never vote for a Democrat, period.
