On Monday, retired four-star general and MSNBC "military analyst" Barry R. McCaffrey posted a clip of video game footage to Twitter. Alongside it he claimed it was a display of strength from Ukraine's air defense. It's actually footage from a video game.

Barry McCaffrey is a real soldier, his arm was hanging by a strip of sinew and he is a recipient of two Distinguished Service Crosses, but he is getting a little long in the tooth. He is several years older than me and he never learned about digital warfare like I did. Our war ended almost 50 years ago. Think a WWII leader being an analyst in 1995. Time for McCaffrey to focus on military history, he lived it.
