This looks way more believable to me than the Emerson that came out a day or two ago.
Barnette gaining 5 vs Oz’s 3 is far more in line with what I would expect to Emerson claiming Barnette gained 4 while Oz gained 7.
Oz hasn’t been able to move the needle any measurable way all election cycle, but with Barnette finally giving the folks who weren’t sold on Oz or McCormick for 6 months, suddenly they are breaking hard for OZ? Not believable.
Barnette still gaining ground, and I would expect her gain to be outpacing either OZ or McCormick establishment knows they have to run out the clock or she’ll win.. so throwing everything and the kitchen sink at her to try to slow her down.
This poll still has me scratching my head, compared to the Trafalgar poll (which is another I tend to trust) McCormick has LOST 11 points... but the net gains of both Barnette and Oz are less than 11.. in fact the Sus poll has 13% less “decided” than the Trafalgar poll last week... with only 73% committed as compared to 86%... Sus has nearly all the 3rd place and below losing support which would imply they are moving their votes..
I would read this poll as a VERY bad sign for OZ.
Momentum is clearly on Barnette’s side.. as it has been since the debates... (or since the majority of PA voters actually got a chance to see her).. Oz and McCormick have been in their faces for 6 months...I have a hard time believe any poll that shows a large shift to either one of them.. given neither has been able to really move their needles much all cycle.
We will find out tomorrow if Barnette pulls off the upset or not, personally I hope she does...
OZ is a dog that just will never hunt in PA, and McCormick is right there with him.
Barnette was the only candidate to accept Dan Bonginos invitation to speak on his radio program. She sounded very good—and determined!
