I wrote that off as a conspiracy theory until we bailed out of Afghanistan. Now it's clear we can't win a war because they won't let us. We saw that in Vietnam, and we saw it again in Afghanistan. They just drag the wars out and make their profits until we're tired of it and want out. The fact that we were humiliated on the world stage and thousands of our troops died meant nothing to them.
Downsize the military. Army and Marine Corps should be Reserves.
We'll still have the Navy and the Air Force, so we should be all right.
If we declare war, we can call our Reserves in the Army and the Air Force to active duty.
