Last time I went into the indoor mall, there seemed to be a lot of closed stores. This was maybe five years ago.


You probably went to the Laguna Hills Mall and it has never been prosperous. But that’s true of about every mall in this country these days.

Yes, that is right. The Geneva Presbyterian Church is across the street from the Home Depot? And the Stater Brothers market? I have been to those places frequently. I have a son in Aliso Viejo.

We moved here 20 years ago in June. Our local mall was THE happening place in the area. Everybody went there.

It is one of the few malls surviving, but lots of closed stores. The last time we went there was about a year ago while we were getting our car serviced. The dealer has several dealerships by the mall and runs a shuttle van on the half hour.

The only really busy place in the mall was a casino that occupies one of the spaces of a former anchor tenant.
