I have been to the nearby mall. Rather a depressed area, isn’t it? By SoCal standards.
No it’s a very nice area.
Last time I went into the indoor mall, there seemed to be a lot of closed stores. This was maybe five years ago.
Used to work out in that area; Laguna Hills/Laguna Beach were just getting to the hyper-developed state back in the late 80’s/early 90’s.
