Well I hate to break it to you but we’re no longer that if we ever were. We are an Imperial Power, the new Perfidious Albion replacing the Brits in that role. We are an empire disguised by misleading rhetoric that pretends otherwise. Some of us may not choose to see it that way, but trust me the rest of the world does. The naivety of some of the posters on here is unbelievable.
I do not believe we have always been thus, but in about the last century, and certainly after WWII, we have become the great Babylon. It is heartbreakingly sad to see imperialistically corrupt we have become.
Except on Memorial Day and Veterans Day, I cannot get myself to fly the flag in front of my home and admit that.
