I don’t know if this is true or not, but I’m sure the CCP will make whatever exceptions are required if the ‘right people’ are involved. Fidel Castro used Spanish doctors rather than Cuban ones if I remember correctly.

The thing to remember about China is that because of their large population and their generally high IQ, there are likely many first-rate brain surgeons that Xi can call upon. Now, if certain people want Xi no longer around, I have no doubt that that can be arranged.
