Actually that word was the PROPER term if someone was attempting to alter their organs.
Today TRANSSEXUAL AND TRANSVESTITE have been supplanted by the single word TRANSGENDER. SHortened to trans (trannie to me) but actually meaning transGENDER.
THese commie bastards are always playing with words. They’d say you are bigoted by using the word “transsexual”. Just like I can’t call a person “oriental” but must say “Asian”.

And we aren’t supposed to say “Indian” anymore, even though there are “Indian reservations” and an agency known as the “Bureau of Indian Affairs”.
We are not supposed to say “Negro” any longer.
I’m sure there are other such words which were once allowable, but those who push changes in language, have now deemed once allowable terms to be bigoted.
I always wonder about “people of color”. It is considering insulting and racist to say “colored people”, but “people of color” is deemed to be ok.
