House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D., N.Y.) said Tuesday that Democrats are “certainly going to look” at the bill, but declined to provide a timeline .
Leadership members said they haven’t even read the legislation, which is a single page.
Call the Dem-rats’ bluff and do it. Can’t cost a tiny fraction of what we sent to Ukraine.
Can’t read a one-page bill, but voting yes to spend $40 million within a couple hours is fine.
Pro-tip:
- Every Democrat + 1 Republican = Bipartisan agreement
- Every Republican + any Democrats = GOP obstruction
The buck stops with the nine. They don’t get to drop a divisive bomb on the nation and act like the aggrieved parties. Imprison them and their 40 odd clerks until this is explained. That’ll keep them safe. Then trials and any guilty staff or justice to be hanged.
The Supreme Court just needs to vote now. Not next month, not two months later, now. End this garbage already and let the Dems eat their own.
Why is new legislation necessary?
Current law is that even peaceful demonstrations will get you 1 year in jail
All they have to do is enforce it by arresting every protestor
Well said.
There is already a law. Just enforce it
Rd later.
Stinking communist bastards are very clever and persistent...
Give the Clerks a PELATON!!
Leadership members said on Wednesday they haven't even read the legislation, which is a single page, and they are now considering a new bill with an added provision that extends the security to the Court's 40-odd clerks—a provision sure to turn off Republicans.
Thanks RACPE.
The democrat congressional staff fears it’s own death
Democrat Congress critters are not targets but all their staff are considered vulnerable
Slimy Hoyer is Maryland, not NY.
The last thing the democrats want is a Supreme Court they want a Supreme Committee.
Pelosi & cohorts cannot find time to read a ONE PAGE BILL——
BUT—She demanded that Obamacare pass without reading it—and it was over 2600 pages. IIRC.
