Putin is someone who wants to defend his borders instead of letting illegal aliens flood into the country.
Putin is someone who wants to increase his country’s production of oil and gas and other key natural resources instead of sabotaging the producers.
Putin is someone who refuses to discriminate against ethnic Russians in the name of “affirmative action”.
Putin is someone who is opposed to LGBT creepiness in Russian institutions instead of trying to cram down the throats of his citizens.
But—if you want to hate Putin, feel free.
Putin has made the protection of Christianity and Christians a main plank in Russian foreign policy. And he has shut down the deep state and NATO inn Ukraine. What's not to like???
“Putin is someone who wants to defend his borders”
I was unaware that Putin owned Russia. That said...
Putin is welcome to defend Russia’s borders and so he should appreciate when the world objects to Russia violating Ukraine’s borders.
Putin is welcome to develop Russia’s natural resources while Ukraine is welcome to object to Putin trying to steal Ukraine’s resources.
Putin should protect ethnic Russians in Russia. The world should respect Putin’s wishes by rounding up all of the pro-Putin Russians in their countries and deporting them back to Russia.
Putin should best start eliminating ‘globohomo’ creepiness by keeping his shirt on instead of prancing around like Freddie Mercury.
I don’t want to hate Putin. But I’d like him a lot more if he were dead.
This whole Ukraine scam is going to make alot of people look foolish when God exposes everything. Laugh away wingnuts

So in your world apparently if somebody does some useful things then they get a pass for whatever awful things they do. That's a pretty strange moral compass.
After all, perhaps the most despicable tyrant in recent European history made a really good car. So does that absolve him of his evil crimes?
