Sure. If Russia loses and Ukraine wins, then Graham’s deep state loses. If Ukraine, the RAT Annex, loses, then who will launder the DC pols’ money?

Ukraine is steadily mortgaging away decades of its future to wealthy western countries. It will most likely grow to regret this. A quick end to the conflict, a smart process of rebuilding, and wisdom in infusing modern efficiency into its various workplaces could reduce the future time period during which Ukraine will be the slave of the West, or make it’s slavery easier to bear, but humiliation will be its lot, at least to and through the medium term, even if Russia gets tired of being stung by bees and withdraws.

It's worth remembering that the peace terms Putin offered would leave the Ukrainian government intact, and free to contine doing whatever stuff it was doing before the war began. So whatever corruption exists doesn't change either way.

Putin is not anyone's ally on "Deep State" issues. He's doing what he's doing for his own reasons.
