So what you’re saying is Trump ran for Congress a couple years ago and was not a serious candidate and lost to a week Dem by 19 points, nobody knew who Donald Trump was, he wasn’t vetted and he couldn’t answer basic questions, he was making extremely controversial statements that would cause him to lose badly in a general, he made statements against gays and lesbians and Muslims and Trump wanted to cancel a whole religion (really?), he trashed an entire religion, he compared Islam to Nazism, Trump didn’t have a better way of expressing himself - he was just like Kathy, he wanted to put up Obama statues next to Abraham Lincoln, he was ducking interviews because he was either unable or unwilling to answer questions, he attacked himself in 2016 because he didn’t know who he was, he was backed by Mitch and the Club For Growth to hurt himself, Trump said he worked for 2 major financial firms but wouldn’t tell anyone where, Trump claims to be an adjunct prof but says “I don’t know when”, Trump climed to be an Army vet but won’t release his DD214, he hung up on reporters asking for military records and basic questions about his background, when Trump was asked about tweets he said he had no memory of these tweets at all whatsoever, and he was polling so low until the last week and underwent no vigorous vetting and was unable to clear up any issues and then he goes on to be destroyed in a general like he was when he ran for Congress?
No. I don’t think so. Kathy is no Donald Trump and she will be destroyed in a general.
We already have enough GOP wasted in the Senate. Either of the multi-millionaires would add one more dud. Mehmet the woke Turk and China Dave suck.
Barnette ran in a Democsrat-gerrymandered district in which she outpolled the prior Republican candidate and outpolled President Trump.
The things that made Trump “unelectable” were his strong positions on behalf of the people against the Establishment. Same thing that made Reagan “Unelectable.” Kathy BArnette is in that mold.
The “electable” candidates (Dole, romney, McCain) usualluy lose. Oz and McCormick are good, traditional, electable McConnell republicans.
That’s why they’ll lose.
