It just occurred to me that Johnathon Swift proposed eating kids to solve the problem of poverty. Not much different than the proposal to abort them.

Though the Swift analogy is tempting, this is not satire. I’d suggest Rep. Porter is simply channeling her inner Margaret Sanger. Her firm (Planned Parenthood) has been successfully reducing the population of undesirables, aka low income and minorities, for over a century. And generating nearly $200 million a year for their troubles. This is mainstream Democrat thinking.
A basic understanding of economics is completely missing in about 99% of the members in Congress.
