Me and my buddy tanker 1985 in Fulda West Germany. Every road march they hand out chalk to right the ‘road march number’ on the tank so if you hit any cars on the Autobahn they know who to blame. Our last REFORGER and we camo-ed the entire tank in tiger stripe white chalk camo. It looked so cool! My buddy was a WWII buff and had drawn several “Nazi” symbols into the camo. The key, a beautiful totenkomp, ss bolts.
We made it 12 clicks to 1st little town and Top and some pissed off bird colonel race up to my tank and flag us down. Apparently we had violated several federal German laws and the local switchboards we’re on fire with reports of our heinous behavior.
Lesson learned — Don’t give chalk and an M-1 tank to a couple of 20 year olds fueled on adrenaline and Wild Turkey and tell them they are defending American values abroad then tell me I have to curb my freedom of speech.
The CAV was a blast!

No, actually I don’t. The reason why is simple: The “Nazi” nonsense that is heaped on Ukraine by Putin’s fans simply doesn’t work. Anyone who actually knows about Ukraine knows that the Ukraine is not run by Nazis. If it were, it wouldn’t have a Jewish president. The Nazis are few and far between. That Nazis - who are often ardent nationalists - gravitate toward one military unit in Ukraine (which happens to be universally known for its ardent nationalism) is meaningless. It proves nothing other than what I just said.

Ukraine has named streets after and built monuments to Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera. Israel and several Jewish organizations have condemned Ukraine for doing so. Children are taught to sing songs about Bandera.
