The perils of mobocracy
American Thinker ^ | May 10, 2022 | Rajan Laad

A week ago, Politico leaked a draft opinion by Supreme Court justice Samuel Alito that provides the rationale on why Roe v. Wade (1973), which legalized abortion nationwide, has to be overturned.

It was merely a draft, not an official ruling or a press release. Drafts often evolve, and so do judges' votes.

So what actually happens if Roe v. Wade is indeed overturned?

Will abortions be illegal across the nation? Will abortionist doctors and women suffering miscarriages or seeking abortions be arrested? Will women be compelled to apply primitive methods to abort their children?

To quote Margaret Thatcher: "no, no, no."

The overturning merely leaves that decision on abortion to individual states.

This is how federalism works. This is exactly what the Founding Fathers intended. Hamilton, Madison, and Washington advocated for the federal system in order to balance order with liberty, prevent tyranny, and allow more participation in politics. They knew that states passing laws according to their requirements were closer to the spirit of democracy than the capital passing federal laws that uniformly apply to citizens living in disparate conditions in various states.

Our democratic republic has devolved to Ochlocracy.

After this, the benevolent dictator will make the trains run on time.

But first Caesar must cross the Rubicon.

Biden the fake president can’t even make Amtrack run on time. Can’t wait for President Trump to rightfully take the presidency in Jan 2025. The Rubicon was crossed years ago. Time to take America back from this madness.

Most of the American people have no idea what Anacyclosis is.

Much less plot how they might avoid it.

No matter, it’s unavoidable.

Just ask Polybius. Or John Adams. Or Thomas Jefferson.

Trying to think of ‘creative’ ways to ‘protest’ in front of these creeps homes. Perhaps every dog owner walk their dogs in front of their homes when the dog needs to go, and let the dog have it poopy free speech right their. If any owns a kennel, it could even be a ‘day trip’ with a reward for each dump. If anyone is actually questioned after the fact, one could just state they are assisting with the fertilizer shortage.

Trying times can spawn creativity of all kinds.

Well, I learned a new word today “ochlocracy”, meaning “government by mob rule”. Those in government who encourage violent mobs generally find themselves singing a different tune when their opposition does the same, whether it’s the Rats turning a blind eye to BLM “protesters” or the Republicans claiming January 6 was “legitimate political discourse”. Hypocrites, all of them.

Drafts may evolve but from what I have been told and read votes rarely do.

Democracy is the same. One of the reasons we are not a democracy.

If they change their votes now, won’t it appear that they were bullied into it? Talk about the end of the judiciary. The votes won’t change.
