Vladimir Putin Rants Against American ‘Exceptionalism,’ Claims WWII Win for Russia in ‘Victory Day’ Speech

Russian strongman Vladimir Putin railed against American “exceptionalism” and “moral degradation” on Monday during the country’s annual “Victory Day” parade, celebrating the defeat of Nazi Germany that Moscow claims for itself.

The Putin regime has for years denied any significant American contributions to ending World War II – going as far as to declare the legendary D-Day landing of American troops at Normandy “not a game-changer” – instead giving all the credit for the fall of Adolf Hitler to the communist Soviet Union under mass murderer Joseph Stalin. Russia marks its contributions to World War II on May 9 with an annual military parade and remarks from Putin…..

Let’s not forget that the USA was also fighting a war in the Pacific that was much more of a logistical nightmare. Building all those ships, aircraft, transporting men and supplies to small island locations separated by thousands of miles was an incredible feat of logistics.

And don’t forget how many ships and crews were lost getting all that stuff over to the Soviets. It didn’t just walk over there.

I was gonna say that back then we were bankrolling their war effort. They supplied warm bodies, small arms and uniforms and we provided the majority of everything else.

The USA also supplied Stalin with his entire battle field telephone system and thousands of combat platoon radios.

Without USA Lend-Lease, Stalin would have surrendered Belarus and Ukraine to Hitler before 1942.

Considering all the men lost in the Battle of the Bulge, it’s remarkable we do not mark Victory over the Nazi’s

Plus our equipment had to be reliable in the field and easy to be service in the field. It had to be easy to swap out engines on a tank, because unlike German tanks, they weren't going to be shipped back to the factory to be rebuilt.

So one would assume they had the parade? They always put on an excellent parade. Sorry I missed it.

I take exception to this! Nah, America is exceptional. Although currently under the control of a corrupt pedopuppet placed there by a deep state coup.

I mean it's like the Praetorians found him hiding behind a curtain or in a basement or something.

Russia “would have” won the war against the Nazis without our help. Most old line conservatives were for that. They saw (accurately) that the two monsters, Stalin and Hitler would savage each other with eye popping losses and lead to the two biggest socialist hell holes (National Socialist Nazis and Marxist Communists) totally ruined and powerless, no matter who “won.”

Instead, the godless FDR baited Japan into attacking us, sat on info/intel he CLEARLY had, allowed thousands of young men to die so we could socialize large segments of the US economy (his “New Deal” policies were NOT working!) and draw us into a war with Germany.

We wasted myriad lives, billions and billions of dollars and abandoned our principles. We transformed into a nation that could willingly participate in the most heinous acts imaginable — we deliberately firebombed cities so that millions of non combatants were killed in engineered firestorms, and then used nuclear weapons (again, on civilians) in acts of mass murder, justifying that because “these people are so wicked” (the leaders WERE wicked, exceedingly... the people were mostly sheep, like most states). We did all that for ...... what? For a result that would have almost certainly happened anyway. It was not a “good war” and all the moral chest thumping and recitation that we “saved the world” won’t change that.

The two worst results of our participation in that mess were not the above, though. The first was the fact that we MADE the old USSR into a world power. The most wicked, bloody, tyrannical, satanic government the world has ever seen was HANDED OVER millions of slaves at Yalta by FDR and Churchill. All of eastern Europe was imprisoned and it took them decades to escape the communist jailers. WE (the west) did that to them. Furthermore, all those items on lend/lease cited above? They were true and we CONTINUED this program of subsidizing/bankrolling a failed and failing system. Lend lease and industrial loans did what they have always done, which means profit the dons of industry. They of course did what the Henry Stimpsons, Harry Hopkinses, in the line of the Cheneys and Wolfowitzes and Bushes and their posturing buddies have always done, which is wave the flag, make all this about “patriotism” and rake in the money. Subsidize our “enemies” until we fight them, and then use the same ramped up means of production internally. It doesn’t matter, because they are gorging themselves on your tax dollars. The soviet union would have collapsed in a matter of weeks or months from within, had it not been held up by western banks, which profited greatly by the “cold war.” (We called this “fascism” when the Germans did it). The second, and probably more heinous result of this was to baptize military adventurism and empire building in the name of “protecting” other countries. So now, we have a litmus test for “patriotism” which states that if you are against meddling in other countries and involving ourselves in wars (sometimes starting them!) then you are a “tool of the left” and “anti military.”

All this (combined with other centralized statism and moral collapse) has ruined the USA. We are not even the same country we were at the founding. What is worse, those who wish to “restore” the USA are often led by a group of people who insist that a strong, vibrant worldwide military and constant vigilance against our “enemies” (commies, arabs, drug dealers etc etc) should lead to prosecution of “wars” against them.

Had it not been for Donald Trump at least breathing a puff of sanity into this madness, I fear that “patriotism” would STILL be defined by sending off young men to die with visions of “protecting liberty” smeared over cynical state directed empire building.

Putin, deceiving, wicked, blood steeped man that he is, sees things about the USA that many Americans can’t. He is a liar, of course, but liars sometimes have a thread of truth.

Everything from Spam to battleships. The Red Army would have been starving and barefoot if not for the aid we and the Brits gave them.
