5:05am Russia readies Victory Day parade as fight for east Ukraine rages
Russia will celebrate its 1945 victory over Nazi Germany Monday with a show of military might as its army battles Kyiv's forces in the east of Ukraine, where 60 people were killed in an air strike on a school sheltering civilians.
President Vladimir Putin is set to flaunt Russia's power in celebration of Victory Day, in an event that has taken on great prominence as he seeks to justify a war that has gone on far longer -- and at far higher cost -- than expected.
But as huge missiles are towed through Moscow's Red Square and a planned flyover will feature fighter jets showing support for the war, Ukraine will be desperately battling to stop a hoped-for military breakthrough.
And civilians continue to bear the brunt of the bloodshed, with President Volodymyr Zelensky confirming that 60 were killed in a Russian air strike on a school in the eastern village of Bilogorivka -- one of the highest one-day tolls since Moscow's forces invaded on February 24.

Actually, people were hiding from Russian bombing in school basement. However, There is a video of a Ukrainian professor teaching his course from Ukrainian foxhole. Reminds one of the battle of Britain, when people tried to maintain the normalcy of their lives even during their invasion attack.

And… they are tweeting in a war zone. This is the old PLO strategy. Fake news. Zelensky says he needs more cash.. so voila.. a school.
Ukraine’s strategy is to put their forces in civilian areas with the hope that Russia will avoid them and give Ukrainians offense advantage though doing so is a war crime.
The internet is full of pics of Ukrainian troops in schools, hospitals, children’s parks, shopping malls, etc.
I read the story you recently posted on the naive Canadian who went to Ukraine and joined the battle. Here is a video from a very good analyst about how that story ends. I strongly recommend that people watch it to get a realistic picture of the conflict and about how it will inevitability end.

I think most people realize that mainstream media are not “quality informational sources.” The mainstream media videos you posted were definitely war propaganda. I know that because I watched them.
Berletic’s video has 14,000 “likes” checked on YouTube. I have found all his videos excellent. He used strictly Western articles in this video all listed, but you wouldn’t know that because you decided to make a judgment without even seeing it. Personally I prefer thorough research which includes as many different sources as possible which, of course, is why I watched your posted videos.
Our nation is in grave danger right now. Staying accurately and fully informed is important in order to avoid letting emotional manipulation lead Americans into making suicidal national decisions.

Fact is the Ukraine is fast using up it cash reserves and will be broke in a few months. Civilians are in same boat.
Why? Because of the Economic Minister (she worked for an Orc who came to the Ukraine and got elected to Parliament for 2 years before returning to Orc Land - he was FSB operative). She is also suspected of being a FSB spy and saboteur.
Her socialist policy is to dictate the price of fuel to wholesalers at a number below wholesale. Fuel importers began to close shop because it was no longer profitable and were losing money.
As a consequence of this government caused shortage, the little fuel that come into the country goes mostly to the military and very little to civilian use. People cannot get to their jobs and cannot earn a living.
At some point in the next few months this will become a very big crisis and Ukraine will need a lot of money to keep going.
I stay “accurately and fully informed” by avoiding sites steeped in anti-American propaganda such as Brian Berletic’s blog.
MSM has negative aspects as sources, but far superior to New Atlas.
