The problem here is his constant demand of money, money, money.

His need for money is not unreasonable. Ukraine will have to be rebuilt after what it has gone through. But no one's suggesting that the US pay for it. I am not. Not only should we not be responsible monetarily for rebuilding Ukraine I think we should be compensated for all the help we have provided. The party that should pay is the party responsible for the destruction and loss of life. Tariffs, taxes, penalties.. whatever it takes. They cannot live a pariah forever without turning into N Korea. It will take a long time to get them to to pay their dues but with the right leadership it's possible.

And of course there is oil, Russia’s biggest export product. If they can’t pay for it in cash they can certainly pay for it with oil. Make them sell oil for a tiny fraction of the market value in return for.. maybe limited lifting of sanctions. If Trump were president he could come up with some deal. I have no doubt about it. But not with this guy.
