I’m with SecondAmendment on this. There have long been rumors that Roberts’ international adoption wasn’t quite kosher. I don’t know if it’s that or they have something else on him, but starting with ObamaCare, I think it became fairly clear that it was more likely than not that forces beyond the court walls were controlling Roberts.
Maybe true! However, I don’t see how anybody would these days get that upset about it. (Remember FR attitudes and not the attitudes of the modern “unwashed masses!”) Embarrassing yes but he could counter by saying I did it to have children and for my wife. (Doing “It-for-the-children” the universal reason for all things!) People might grumble but would over time (about 6 weeks!) forgive & forget. Certainly not remove him over it! (Anyway, those kids are near adults now!) Even the gay rumors in this day and age wouldn’t get him removed if proven. He might not even be that embarrassed, he could make a readily acceptable to the modern “world” excuse and all would be forgotten. (It would be a resume enhancer in this “oh-so-modern-world”!)
I see nothing there that would grab on to him in such a way that would make him that malleable!
I am not defending him. I just don’t see how that would him someone’s grip.
