Given that the preliminary decision was leaked, and we know who was supporting what, it may be harder for them to switch votes, as this will make their caving very public. I think the leakers may have shot themselves in the foot.
If one of them switches.. they will justify it as happening in the course of the normal ‘deliberative process’ of the Court. The media will all join in a chorus to praise the bravery of the vote switcher... who ‘stood up’ to the ‘intimidation of the right-wing mob.’
