I’m not speaking for Moscow, I’m speaking as an American - an American who is America First. We have no legitimate interests in regards to Ukraine, no treaty obligations, no economic or security interests and it’s absolutely insane that we’ve brought ourselves to the brink of WW3 getting involved over there.
But I do wonder what YOUR obsession is with this country, you appear to be either of Ukrainian descent or have a spouse who is. Can’t think of any other reason why you are so gung ho for this war. It’s time you come clean and admit to your real motivations here.

That’s easy. I quite loathe bullies. People who use their strength or authority to abuse weaker people irk me.

And it can be a thug regime like Russia invading a country that disarmed itself under Russian assurances only to be betrayed by the Russian gangsters.
I enjoy it when bullies get justice.
But above all I never advise giving in to them because the bastards inevitably come back for more.
In particular I take deep umbrage at threats from bullies because they’re always telling you what they want to do regardless of what you do. They do it because they like it. They get a perverse satisfaction and gratification from imposing themselves on others. It’s how they validate themselves as important.
Neutralizing such vermin is in the best interests of civilization and to stand by and let a bully have their way is to me unconscionable regardless of who the victim is.
Civilization to me is defined by how the strong treat and protect the weak.
And from time to time the barbarians and brigands must be brought to heel and reminded to fear the unbridled savagery of the civilized man.
