Education Payroll Records show more than 400 school staff quit over the Government's vaccine mandate
The Education Ministry said the mandate was included as a reason for resignation in the payroll system last year, however schools did not have to use the coding.
As a result, it is unclear exactly how many staff members left because of the rule, the Ministry said.
The Teaching Council said it received reports from employers that 225 teachers were dismissed for refusing to comply with the vaccine mandate...

The number may be greater because of the way records were being kept this is the minimum number.
In a country the size of the USA that would be almost 42,000 people at a minimum leaving as school employees.
That is not a 'small group of people'.
If only they lived in America. Then it would be “their choice, their body.”
The total number of teachers in the country is a rather telling missing piece of information in the story.

There are two different ways we measure the size of the teaching workforce on this page:
Teacher headcount: which looks at the total number of teachers employed throughout the year.
Full-time teacher equivalent (FTTE): which measures the hours worked by a teacher across a year in relation to those worked by a full time teacher who works the whole year.
When United Air Lines’ vaccine mandate went into effect, the company issued a smug press release announcing that “only” a small number of employees finally had to be terminated for refusing the vax. The release included the company’s full head count.
Somebody (from 4chan?) compared that number to their most recent 10Q filing from only a couple of months earlier, and concluded that either the company had used false information in a Federal filing, or they had actually lost close to a quarter of their workforce in a couple of months.

If New Zealand is anything like Australia,
all teachers and administrators are FEDERAL government employees.
That would suggest that those who refused the 'experimental injections'
not only gave up their jobs, but also pension and other government benefits.
That's not a cheap decision !
I can see why the author of the article didn’t provide the information. The government doesn’t make it easy to discover such a basic piece of information!
Um... this is NOT true in Australia.
In fact, virtually no teacher in Australia is a federal government employee. Nor are school staff.
Can we send them some illegal invaders to fill those vacancies?
Jacinda will find some folks from Asia I would think the Aussie and Kiwi leaders already welcome needed workers in areas considered vital Down Under.
